Project WOO and Buena Onda Surf Project ride similar waves of high impact!

In an effort expand surfing’s positive global impact, Project WOO recently recognized Buena Onda Surf Project as a sister organization in Oaxaca, Mexico.

This surf project’s mission is to share the buena onda spirit of surfing with the boys and girls from undeserved and financially disadvantaged communities of Los Angeles and Mexico. Through the spirit of surfing, Buena Onda Surf Project strives to empower the youth with life skills that build self-confidence, self-respect, respect for others, and an appreciation of the ocean and the environment. Most importantly Buena Onda Surf Project wants the kids to have fun and wants to inspire them to explore new opportunities beyond their current circumstances.
